Learn 2 Fly RC |
|
A first step in Learning to Fly R/C is to ask for advice on getting in to r/c airplanes, the web can help, your local hobby store, if you wish, you can email me for help, on getting you started. A good flying trainer model around 60" to 70" wingspan is usually the best method to start. A beat up swap meet or garage sale model airplane, or a small foamy model from the hobby shop may be cheaper but can lead to frustration in learning to fly rc. A good flying .40 sized trainer, glow or electric saves you time and money in the long run. Some folks can learn to fly and solo r/c in the same day, some folks take a week or two, some take a month, it's all about hand and eye coordination and getting that "feel" of how the model flies. R/C computer flight simulators are a great aid in learning.

Feel free to ask me for help at the flying field or email me. |
I can recommend a trainer for you. I occasionally have trainers for sale, check my Buy & Sell page. Today's arf trainers are built well, built better than what most beginners can build, buy an ARF instead of building a kit. |
