City of Winnipeg 402 Squadron P-51D mustangs around the late 50's parked at the Winnipeg airfield.
This flying r/c model P-51D was built in from the Top Flite kit. I am using a US41 gas engine swinging a 19x10 Bolly prop. This P-51 first flew in May 2002. RCAF 402 Squadron flew the P51 from 1952 to 1956. Their base is a hop, skip and jump from my house. At Asessippi Fly In with Jeff E's Corsair and Merton Moore's Byron P-51.
